Specialist Driving Courses

Courses offered
Trailer Towing, 4X4, Chauffeur, Emergency Response training, including theory and practical on & off road.

Aimed At:
Drivers employed to carry out more specialist driving duties.

Location:
Any location, your head office, depot or a local hotel etc.

Duration:
1 - 5 days for initial training depending on objectives.
1 - 3 days for refresher training depending on objectives and previous training.

Driver/Trainer Ratio 1:1 or 2:1 depending on requirements and number of seats available in the vehicle.

Aims:
To provide more specialist training in the vehicle the driver will be using whilst on company business.

Objectives:
At the end of the session the driver will:

• Drive in a competent and progressive manner.
• Be able to carry out the driving duties in a safe and competent manner.
• To have a good understanding of the capabilities of the vehicle and to show a knowledge of the vehicle sympathy.
• Showing an advanced level of awareness and anticipation of other road users to ensure a proficient drive.

Method:
By the use of classroom theory, on and off road sessions, the programme will focus on the needs and requirements of the driver.
