Remedial on-road training

Aimed At:
Drivers who have been involved in a crash and require their driving skills and attitude re-visiting or have suffered confidence loss.

Location:
Any location, your head office, depot or a local hotel etc.

Duration:
Half day session. 

Driver/Trainer Ratio 1:1

Aims:
To reduce or eliminate the risk of being involved in another crash. To discuss the avoidability of the crash. To instil confidence in their driving.

Objectives:
At the end of the session the driver will:

• Drive the vehicle in a safe and smooth manner.
• Be aware of the avoidability of the accident.
• Be more confident in their driving.

Method:

Review the accident report and the driver’s involvement in the crash. The avoidability issues would be discussed where practical. The on road training will focus, where possible, on the original crash scene or similar road conditions to make the training relevant to the individuals needs.
