Transco builds strong relationship

Vince Reid of NOM Network Repair, Transco, explains how the strong relationship with Driving Services has helped them to achieve important goals.

"One of Transco's main objectives is safety. With this in mind, it recognised its obligations to ensure that its fleet of drivers were made aware of the risks associated with driving, and to operate their vehicles in a safe manner, therefore minimising the risks for their employees, other road users and the general public. To achieve this objective Transco employed Driving Services UK Limited as its Defensive Driver Training Service Provider. Together we have provided a thorough scheme that identifies those drivers who may require some form of additional training. Driving Services have proved themselves as having the same mindset on road safety as ourselves, which from the outset was imperative. Through the Driving Services team of highly proffesional trainers and staff, Transco has already achieved several important goals. Together we strive for continuous improvement in relation to road safety and with the support of Driving Services this critical objective will be achieved."
