Inland Revenue choose Driving Services over the competition
Driving Services said that it was successful in the tender to supply driver training to the Inland Revenue in what is possibly the largest contract for on road car driver training.
Stan Ayling, whose responsibilities as Head of Commercial Operations for the Inland Revenue includes Transport & Travel, said: “We have a very proactive approach to fleet safety and have provided driver training to our drivers for some years. We are now looking to add to this by providing training courses for staff that manage our pool cars on a daily basis. Driving Services have the experience and background to offer the right training for us to move further forward with this project”. Doug Jenkins, Managing Director of Driving Services said: “It was a great thrill to win the tender to supply the Inland Revenue with this training, especially as so many known companies went for this business. It is a testimony to our company, staff and trainers who are dedicated to providing the highest standards in training and administration of this business”. The contract is for three years with an option to extend after this time.
