Abu Dhabi National Oil Company renews contract!

Driving Services have successfully renewed their contract to offer Motor Fleet Risk Management Services to The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). The company recognised that careless driving and speeding were one of the major hazards affecting their employees, and have taken a pro-active approach to address poor driving amongst their employees. In June 2005 they held a three day Motor Fleet Risk Management Workshop facilitated by Doug Jenkins and Dave Caldwell from Driving Services, and attended by 6 selected operating companies. The objective of the Workshop was to outline how, as a Company they could improve the management, safety and control of motor fleet risks within ADNOC and ADNOC Group companies’ operations. The workshop involved role plays and theory sessions on how to implement safe driving policies, how drivers could be risk assessed and how driver training could be implemented for operations or activities that were critical to the business. The workshop provided an excellent opportunity for interaction between representatives from the participating companies and culminated in comprehensive action plans being formulated. Progress is being followed up in a return visit to the Emirates within the next few months.
